    Finally got my piece done...

    Let's be honest: when I think of remodeling supergirl, I think of Zoetica. She's perfect for the role.
    I went to look for a reference photo I could use (not trace, which will be evident from the piece) and found this:
    Skyward.

    I need more practice (ofcourse) and maybe a tablet, because doing this with the mousepad on my laptop proved difficult...

    The first iteration is the original "painting", the second version I like a bit better. But still those eyes, aaarggghhh. I like the body (from the nose down and minus the coat) the best.

    @donnie darko - Doing all that with a mouse? I don't envy you! Nice job.
    @razrangel - Thanks!!
    @Paul Sizer - Thanks a lot, it's Freedom Fighter Supergirl! Just saw yours when I posted mine last night (morning). Loved it! Made me think "It's a trap!" also the costume and pose and everything was just wicked!
    @mercurialblonde - And I yours... Thanks!
    @Hey Apathy! - Yeah, Supergirl actually fixing things! Fun.
    @HerrHussein - Just saw yours! Made me laugh a lot, really nice job dude.

    Now, a shout out to some I saw properly today

    @Valente - The texture of your marks are lovely and the pose is disturbing and beautiful.
    @Clone Artist - I giggled.
    @kosmograd - nice graphic.
    @m. e. walsh - Sexy, sexy style. That one has got it goin on big time. Really impressive.
    @Neila - I like the take on it. Reminds me of an 80s cartoon I can't remember!(Sorry... if i think of it i'll mention it)
    @mojokingbee - I like the colours. I like the colours of her tattoos and magic too. :) Nice one.
    @DBed - Sweet. Took me a few seconds to realise they're actually magic intestine ribbons which is both terrifying and genius.
    @anjinanhut - Excellent work.

    There's more great ones in there I've to get to in a bit, sorry. Really exciting collection overall, I'm still absorbing it.

    @Lordofthejungle - thanks for the kind words and just let me tell you that your entry is my favourite (really, not just saying this).

    @Paulsizer - your sense of design is unparallelled.

    @Mojokingbee - I marveled at a lot of your stuff in the artist thread. I love your lines and color sense, shadings excellent too. I'll study your stuff for sure.

    Been slowly working on this over the week, and turns out I seem to have tried remixing the excellent entries of @DBed and @Lordofthejungle :)
    Supergirl
    I figured that in her college years she didn't care much about uniforms. There's a slightly bigger version here.

    @Hey Apathy!: Forgot to mention it earlier, but I love your entry; the complexity of your creations always thrills me.
    @Clone Artist: This is awesome! Supergirl and her unicorn seem ready to take on Sharkpony.
    @Anjinanhut: Wow, beautiful entry and design! glad you joined in!
    @Lordofthejungle: excellent work!
    @M.E.Walsh: I dig your style and the feel of your entry - I'd love to read that Supergirl.
    @Herr Hussein: Nice!
    @Paul Milligan: Awesome job too! And Thanapoom is genius :)

    Supergirl

    First post. I saw this thread for the first time yesterday and couldn't resist giving my take on the idea. Went more All Ages with this take.
  9.  (9883.96)
    @Miranda - Excellent take on it yourself, I love the Energy/Magic stuff. Great drawing as always. Did it take long?
    @Dirtbag_Kingdom - Nice! It's kinda indie movie in a way I like.
    @BlairJCampbell - Cool. I like those eyes! Nice background, the colours are great.

    Blair: Looks like you took the angle that I did also; incorporate the red-blue-gold costume element by making the skin the red. Great costume, nice render as well, welcome to the collective!
  10.  (9883.98)
    @Lordofthejungle- Thanks for the kind words!
    @Paul Sizer- Great minds think alike, sir. I originally had blue skin and red gear but switched it up. Thanks for the welcome.

    @Lordofthejungle: Thanks! It takes long because I work slowly, in short sessions, over way too long periods of time :)
