I'm really enjoying Warren's instagrams of skulls today. Makes me feel a little less odd for my own photos of my new raccoon skull, my doe skull or my fake human skully dude halloween prop. I even have a partial fox skull in my bedroom at mom's.
Other People think strange things are Neat, Too! Woo :D
How many others here have a skull or two or so about their house?
I don't but I honestly wish I did. My main problem is the acquisition of said skull; if I'm going to purchase one, I want to know how the skull was originally acquired.
As for cleaning a skull found from a carcass, I'm pretty sure my wife would leave me if I tried.
@Ren proper places are licensed to sell bones, so they'll be humanely acquired. If you want more story than that, uhm, I suppose you could ask? I like Evolution for that, although obtaining a human skull is impossible through them, unless you're in the medical profession. Private collectors go through shady avenues and spend tons of money.
I also have a groupon to Evolution that I need to use up soon to obtain more taxidermy for my home. I currently only have prop skulls for Sketchy's and that needs to change now! D:
Thanks, for the info; concerns about how they were acquired keep me away from purchasing a lot of things I'd like to have for some projects. I'd like more story if I can get it.
