Thanks chaps, good to be back in the saddle after my long holiday.

@dextra - love that wonderful expression on skully's face!

@harris-ejaz: Bit of a mixed bag this one, used Sketchbook pro, Manga studio and Painter 11 - but no photoshop.

this week I submitted a few t-shirt designs to Threadless...

if you want one, they need a few votes before any get made.

Links to the t-shirts are on my blog

@kperkins - Why yes, it is. I was given the idea for a gonzo pirate flag and just sort of ran with it.
@NeilFord - Thanks! I liked the way the eyes came out.
@mojokingbee - Well, it was supposed to be a pirate flag, but I think it works more as a tattoo design. I've had a few people say they'd like to have it as a tattoo, but I'm calling dibs on that (and for the person I designed it for). :)

I missed the Malcolm McLaren Justice League R/R and decided against seeing Green Lantern this weekend so I did my own boring redesign / colouring experiment.

Green Lantern costume fiddling by Oxbrow

Normally I take ages getting rid of the artefacts of scanning and masking, but I left some of them in this time as I think the effect's sorta interesting. Sorta.

    and my faves:

@kevinmellon: I thought that Mandarin pic was missing a hookah, very nice.

@mojo: love the texture of your stuff, as always, "amulet girl" is really tickling my fancy for some reason (no, not the boobs).

@JP: that robot is ill, feels like something I'd see in Heavy Metal back in the day.

    @Kyle: Magnus mother@#! Robot Fighter, ah Vliant...sigh.

@tnperkins: always on point, but that Robo-Geisha Ghost Slayer is badass.

@Aurora and Apathy: You guys are one of life's many lovely reminders of what an utter waste of my time drugs are.

@initiatezao: that River Tam sketch read instantly, but still conveyed your style, me like.

Really like the colours in that Supes, JP.

If you want, you can always wet mount the watercolour paper onto double-ply illustration board or masonite.

@hey apathy! - those are some awesome peices. do you use a brush for all your stuff or do you use a pen for your smaller stuff?
@jp stargazer- love the color on your superman. have you ever used guache?

    heres what im working on-

    Good God, that's nice, Imaginary!
  6.  (9906.254)
@imaginarypeople, that's astonishing!!!!! Mindblowing! - and no, I've never used guache, never relly knew exactly how to prepare it, not to mention that no one sells it where I live.
@Richard, thanks, man. I'll really have that in mind. Of course , that sketch was donne in a piece of crap paper, anyway, with all due respect to the noble species of papers...

Nice one @imaginary !!! ( I have 0.5 technical pens for the small works)

congrats @Valente I see one of your shirts is a winner! (put my votes in on the others good luck!)

@mercurialblonde: Well, our Moebius comics aren't that pricey yet. Unless it's Incal or Airtight Garage, both of which were printed in very limited editions over here. If I sold one (not that I would if I had any) I could pay my internet bill for the entire year.
@VertigoJones: Thank you. The idea is obviously not a new one but it sure helps doing silent comics.
@Edwin: What is that yellow thing punching out Batman? Cause it sure looks familiar but I can't remember where I saw it.
@photomagex: Thanks. Although the more I look at it, the more annoyed I am with the inconsistency of panel borders used throughout. But I guess they work for respective pages.
@COOP: that is one scary self portrait. It's also amazing!
@initiatezao: That's NOT a lunch sketch, that's a lunch masterpiece. It should be promoted at least to dinner.
@harris-ejaz: the "bumpy" pants feel a bit odd at first but overall the piece is amazing.
@ALE: umm, thanks? Does that mean people can get stoned on my art? Haha.
@JP Stargazer: That's a cool Superman. Very "circus acrobat" looking, in fact I think it'd be cool to see adventures of a depowered classical Superman wearing THIS outfit
    @everyone else: show more art!

    Another batch of sketches:

Also, few more pages of The Consequences of Sowing Fire (which is in my Coilstar Illustrated #2 of which I still sold ONE copy so far it seems)

    Consequences 11
    Consequences 12
    Consequences 13
    Consequences 14-15

And because I love and trust you guys, here's a sneak peek at my piece, a new take on the SPIDER MAN 2 movie poster.
