not for the feint of heart.

you really shouldn't be able to see a doctor clink someone's exposed ulna with tweezers

Just saw this, not sure if it has been posted up here before, couldn't find it with a quick search at least.

    Acid Trip

These 9 drawings were done by an artist under the influence of LSD -- part of a test conducted by the US government during it's dalliance with psychotomimetic drugs in the late 1950's. The artist was given a dose of LSD 25 and free access to an activity box full of crayons and pencils. His subject is the medico that jabbed him.

In Russia, a woman is declared dead, but wakes up at her own funeral... and dies of shock. For good, this time

Fagilyu Mukhametzyanov, 49, had been incorrectly declared by doctors but died for real when she heard mourners saying prayers for her soul to be taken up to heaven.

Devastated husband Fagili Mukhametzyanov, 51, had been told his wife had died of a heart attack after she'd collapsed at home suffering from chest pains.

But as mourning relatives filed past her open coffin they were shocked when the supposedly dead woman suddenly woke up and started screaming when she realised where she was.

"Her eyes fluttered and we immediately rushed her back to the hospital but she only lived for another 12 minutes in intensive care before she died again, this time for good," said Fagili, who now plans to sue the hospital.

Okay, you thought that last Minecraft video was trippy...

Some crazy bastard decided that yo, dawg, he heard you like to mod your mods, so what does he do? Add to the mod.

(edited because, paste is being tricky)

Technically, this IS something happening on the web that Whitechapel denizens will dig....

Nearly a year in the making, Thomas Dolby's "Floating City" online game launches today!

Concept-wise, this is a really cool idea from Thomas; have a game that people can play, meet other Dolby fans from around the Earth, learn about his previous music, and hear bits of his new music. It's a little post-apocalyptic, a little steampunk, a little "Mad Max", and 100% geek-tastic! As deep and complex as Thomas' songs are, this game is exactly the same. And it's a game that rewards you for being smart, inquisitive, and willing to solve problems and think ahead!

This game launched yesterday, Wednesday, June 22, at 6pm GMT, and will play out for the next 2-3 months, finishing up with the release of his new album "A Map of the Floating City" in late summer/early fall. And the prize at the end of the game? Well, I'm sworn to secrecy on this one, but I can say "Wow. Just Wow." Dolby fans and new fans alike are gonna really dig this. If you have the time, please check it out and sign up to play.
