If only you had a twitter account that I could fucking remember the username of!

Still, I commented to Patton, giving attribution and link back here, which I'm sure he'll RT eventually.

So now you all know: Patton Oswalt reads Whitechapel occasionally.

Ed Brubaker was checking them out as well. He likes Steve Lieber's.

Steve, I picked up a McNulty and Bunk print from you in Baltimore, it was instantly coveted by my wife and sister-in-law. It got ugly.

"It's Baltimore, gentlemen. The gods will not save you."

This thread just got me into The Wire.

WIRE: 2050 - Urban infrastructure collapse in the Northeast Megacity:

    RR-TW-1-2-o1

Animated, if at all possible, by French people.

I always wait for the KMcLeod entry, because I know it will make my brain very happy. This is no exception...

This thread made me give Season 1 another try. I got half-way through a year ago and just kinda lost interest. Glad I came back to it as shit is really going down now.

Same here. Paul Sizer's entry in particular made me give the first episode of season one another try. Now I'm getting the season.

It's a slow burner of a programme. Just coming to the end of watching series 1-5 through again. Loved it more on second watching. The writing is excellent, and some of the most rounded characters on tv. Even down to the way they use music.
  5.  (9919.53)
KMcLeod's entry is utterly full of win.

Haven't been here in a while, but there you go...

Love how it turns, and getting a viral Sizer is even better. Me? I just draw Batmen...

Maybe I should have a TV, so that I may actually know what the wire is about, apart from the Wikipedia page...

@Beamish No. No vaccine. the world must be infected with the viral Sizer.
  8.  (9919.58)
Want to do this so badly...but this is shaping into a 65-hour work week. Rrrrgh. Maybe I can draw it on the subway...
  9.  (9919.59)
@Paul: a world full of little Sizers drawing vanilla cartoon for The Wire tv animated show...There's a thought to have a better world, no?
