I just got my copy(s), and am really excited. Like Malkovich-holding-automatic-weapons level of excited. Gushing over all the artwork.

How many Whitechapellers are in this? I recognize two or three offhand from various REMAKE/REMODELs, but really, my memory is worse than a Jim Nabors album.

Thanks, EVERYONE, for fantastic art, and thank you Uncle Warren for both the TRANSMET and WHITECHAPEL canvasses.

Ted Brandt, Paul Sizer, Annie Wu, Libby Bulloff, Lukas Ketner, Brandon Seifert, Tristan Henry-Wilson, and Felipe Sobriero should all be names you recognize from Whitechapel or Warren's blog somewhere. I'm sure I'm missing a few.

@pinoles — Where did you get a copy? I'm still waiting on my comp, and I didn't realize they were out in the wild already!

They're being sent out in trickles. I haven't got mine yet, but know a bunch who have gotten it.

Without making any promises, the inventory has been dealt with and the books should be coming in soon, depending on how far you are from San Francisco.

Oldhat, I have some bizarre notion that you're in Canada, so you will likely get it after Brandon, who I think is in the Northeast somewhere? I didn't realize I could pack so much vague into one sentence.

    Sigh.

@alan, could you do me a huge favor and post a photo of my page in it? ;) (I'm dying to see it!)

@brandon - your page is wonderful, right opposite a page by Fiona Staples' which is THE PERFECT accompaniment for your piece.
@paul - sir dude: same as @brandon, but in reverse (-:

I really wouldn't feel good about posting pages in here, otherwise I'd do it for you beautiful people in a heartbeat. I do apologize for my, um, early enthusiasm.

(in my defense: you knew not to make me think about the scales.)

    And Kevin Mellon!

Mine came today! It was really exciting to see, although unfortunately the dust jacket on mine got crunched in transit. But still, it's a pleasure to see a piece of my work about a series that was so formative for me, in a book alongside a roster like that.

Also, I've gotta say: ANNIE FUCKING WU.

Yup, I'm in there! Next to Moritat, no less. As if being in the book itself wasn't daunting enough, being placed next to that brilliance made me kinda nervous.
The book itself is friggin' beautiful. I haven't had a chance to go through it with a fine-tooth comb, but there is a lot of awesome in that package.

quick shot of my piece -

edit - and yeah, FUCK YEAH ANNIE WU!!!!!

Just got mine in the mail this weekend, have done a cursory run through it, will get out fine tooth visual comb and go through tonight. The printing, paper, binding and over all design on the book is really nice, a handsome package all around.
And yup, I'm in there, page 99.

I'm already thinking about things I should've done differently with my piece. :P Can't wait to hold mine in my grubby little hands, though: I've heard from several people already that the book's production is very nice, and being included in a book with such talent... and SO MANY WHITECHAPELERS!!!... that just tickles my fanboyscrotum.

    No, seriously, it does.

EDIT: I wish I could get the WC-artist-posse to sign my copy. Hmmm...

@Art -- might be an idea to start a thread specifically to arrange getting the books signed by as many participants as possible. Maybe a con calender / directory with the contributors?

Just a thought, though it seems like work.
