    All weekends work for me so far.

    July is high summer in Toronto, so this time I'm doing cold cuts and salads instead of hot food. Anyone have any dietary requirements I should know about?
  2.  (9948.24)
    All right, how's the 16th for everyone?

    There are Whitechapel meet-ups? In my city? How did I not know this?

    Damn it, now there is one more reason to go to Toronto. I was jealous of the last one, but another. Sassinfrassin.

    16th is now guaranteed okay for me (the benefit of a month's advance warning, cheers.)
  3.  (9948.28)
    All right, July 16th it is. Kickoff at 7pm, finishing 1:30am when the last subway train runs.

    Dinner will be potluck; I'm supplying cold chicken and ham and a couple of salads. If you have allergies or dietary requirements, this is the time to let me know.

    Email me if you're coming - you can reach me at p0lym0rph@mail.com or at my private email if you have it.

    I'm in!
    @Greasemonkey I'll fire off an "official" e-mail later, but this is brewing to be a large one. I'll bring another 2-4 of beer, anyone got any preferences?
    @katiewest... now you know, now you have to come! (it's in the rules)
    @luke....yeah the month's warning helps ensure your Sunday is free too, and you're going to need the recovery time.

    Colour me excited and if you have any crayons left, colour me there! (No, not there. To the left a bit. That's it ... ahhh ...)

    @katiewest - yes, you really must attend.

    @ Luke - looking forward to new meat.

    @Greasemonkey - I'll see you there, dude.

    @katiewest dirty jokes, comics and getting incredibly drunk. I think it'd be appreciated. :)

    I'm down. And count on me to bring some nice Quebec beer.

    In case anyone missed the last Toronto meet-up thread, a few details:

    1) We're partying at my place in the downtown area. Email me if you're coming, and I'll give you my address. You can reach me at p0lym0rph@mail.com
    2) Stuff to bring - whatever alcohol you like, and/or food along the lines of a summer buffet.
    3) Smoking weed or tobacco is okay within reason, but we'll have to take it outside if the fumes get too heavy.
    4) Respect my property and don't act like a knob, and we'll get along just fine.

    @Greasemonkey

    I'm all for respecting property, but I'm a bit of a knob. Is it okay if I'm a bit of a knob?

    @DJ - Probably. We've never had a problem and we never will.
    To quote the great Jack Kirby (and I'm paraphrasing, fer chrissakes) - "I'm not political but if a guy says he likes Hitler, then I bust him in the chops."
    If you can learn to quote Jack Kirby, you'll be fine.

    EDIT TO fix horrible spelling mistakes. YOU MUST SPELL WELL OR THE MONKEY KING WILL COME!

    @DJ - so long as you're not the kind of knob who throws up in the bathtub or pisses in the houseplants at parties.

    Robin may have just convinced me to try and show up to this one, since the NYC meet feel through for me. So far, I've never evacuated any of my bodily fluids onto anyone else's property, excepting the toilet and my grandmother's carpet (I was six). I should mention, I'll probably be late, seeing as I'll be driving up from the States, if I am able to make it.

    DJ: if you piss me off, you'll know it. You know this from the WC room. Don't be snarky to another and be respectful.

    @Greasemonkey - Fortunately for you, I only do that at work. At parties I buckle down and get shit done.

    @oldhat - I was going to ask you to define 'snarky', but I think I answered my own question. Honestly though, half a beer deep and I'm nothing but friendly.

    It's the miscreants at my parties who tend to be unfortunate. Smartasses don't fare well either.
