    I hope.

Okay BUT there's also pretty cover images and links for preordering VOLUME SIX, so that's a thing.

Also, zed oh em gee you guys, six episodes to go.

    How's everyone doing?

Oh boo! Well, since it's a skip week and Paul is thanking everyone then I should thank everyone involved - Warren, Paul, WIlliam, Mark, Ariana, Alana and Kate for a wonderfully entertaining series. I've been buying the signed hardcovers to support the series, if I had the money I'd have bought the regular hardcover and the paperback too since the covers are so amazing. Are there any thoughts on doing a slipcase for the entire HC series? I know I'd by one.

My week has gone pretty well. The deadline for the work I've been putting off for months has slipped (as I knew it would) so I didn't have quite the mad week of getting stuff done that I thought I would. The structural engineer's report on our new house has come back and it means we don't have to redesign the whole kitchen and the builder's quote for getting the work done is massively under what I expected, so I am a lot less stressed than I have been.

Is this a first in the history of mankind?

Next thing you'll be on here saying he completed in less than the projected time, as well as under budget.... ;-P

I've just realised the week has flown by without my feet touching the ground as I've been covering for my boss, who's away for two weeks in france, as well as dealing with my own workload.

    Caffeine. Helps.

I haven't had a *proper* holiday in nearly 6 years.

    *cries*

Shame on the skip, Yay on it being the last

Also, Thank You Paul, it's been great being on this ride with you all and seeing how you have grown in the art along with Alana and Kate.

And Thank you to Ariana, William and Mark for providing Warren and Paul with the opportunity to do this,

Finally Warren, thank you for giving us this story.

    Dan

[Settles back to enjoy the ride to the end]

This late in the day I don't think anyone really minds a skip week. And those covers are amazing! I've been buying the hard covers but I'm tempted to get the trade paperback as well.

Thank you all for taking us on this journey.

I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.
Thanks to all involved, it's been great and I've learned a thing or two about story telling...

...but what the fuck am I going to do on a Friday lunchtime?

Somehow I expected another skip week at some time, though I could not tell exactly which week. Well, it comes out to be this week. In a way I don't really mind, it only keeps me waiting for the end and the final outcome a bit longer, but I can be patient, vèry patient unless I lose my temper. And that is not likely to happen regarding the quality of the work Paul and Warren and the whole team are delivering.

So let me take this opportunity to thank everybody involved for the great job you are all performing and which now is running to an end. And I really hope that there will be something to fill up the empty space that the ending of the FA-series will leave on internet. For of one thing I am pretty sure already: I will miss them.

This notice brought tears to my eyes, and not because it's a skip.
    I love all of you!

Wow, only six more weeks until the story is finished. I thank everybody involved, and look forward to the ending.

The skip weeks don't really bother me, and I can understand the need for one in this case. Warren did warn that he would be asking Paul to do some artistically difficult things in the last few installments. Now I wonder if a) lesser artists will try to steal some of Paul's images for their own work and b) willingness to risk going blind and/or mad is part of the job description for artists working with Warren.

On my end, I'm enduring the twin joys of i) having pulled a muscle in my hip doing a physical job that's not even close to completion and ii) finding that so far the only people offering new roomshares that I can afford have places that would suit vampires or would have driven a 21st-century Bartleby mad.

I had no idea it's almost over! Seems like it could've gone on for years yet. Will they be able to wrap this up in a satisfying way? There's so much still unanswered (unless I just haven't been paying attention)!

An ok week, if not for the torrid climate.
Thanks to Paul, Warren, Ariana and all for giving us this wonderful comic!
Looking forward for the final stretch.

    FREAKANGELS RULE!

My sincere and unending gratitude goes out to every man-, woman-, and free-jack responsible for sliding this gorgeously realized piece of graphic literachoor across our monitor screens almost every Friday since, oh I dunno-- which era was it in which FreakAngels first appeared, the whitechapplic? The paleolithographic? Geologers, stenographists, and other sciency-type folks engage in bloody fisticuffs over this question every day. As far as I'm concerned, life is short --and these pants are just a smidgen too long. So let's just sit back, roll up our cuffs, and enjoy the spectacle. Except for those of us who could afford Lasik surgery, and good for you, I say.

As far as The End is concerned, I have a theory, which is mine, and this is what it is. **ahem** Paul has gotten so good as a story conduit for Warren's vivid alt-worlds that other tales have spontaneously begun sprouting, fractally, from the fringes of the FA --and if you zoom to the very limits of resolution, save the image, then zoom in again, and again, you will eventually make out details of a new story, in a new place, one that will transfix and transport us just as much, if not more-- as far, if not further than the angelic freaks have brought us already. And we'll all be there, together, to take that wild wonderful ride.

That, or you'll wake up, like I did. (Maan, Ariana, you're right about that Red Bull!)

    Furthur...
