Hi, I'm Shannon. I'm a New Orleans resident, pizza delivery guy, hack bass player, occasional wielder of a camera. No website, beyond maybe my flickr and my photobucket, and my twitter handle @sjgilly is almost exclusively used as an information aggregator (because it's occasionally useful to know what the local beer people are up to, among other things). That's about it.

    Hey Si, I'm Tom.
Recovering chef, student of literature and informatics in Glasgow, often a reader, sometimes a writer, current blood-soaked pretender to the Throne of Arms.
I like tl;dr email convos and chalk-based situationism and many other types of lovely thing.
    Pleased to meet ya!

Hello, I'm Neil. I'm usually in lurk mode unless I'm taking part in the Remake/Remodel or art threads, or making the occasional drunken addition to the Saturday Night Open Mic thread. I am much more active on twitter, where my list seems to be made almost entirely of Whitechapel folk. My occasional blog (art, bullshit) is over here, my Flickr is over there.

I like to flatten and fold Viscount wrappers as many times as possible before throwing them in the bin. I wonder how long the folds will last.

'lo Si! I'm Nick, and I'm slightly ashsamed to be among such talented people, which is why I'm a borderline lurker. Anyway - Brightonian, working in local government recruitment (which is every bit as Kafkaesque as it sounds), consumer of most of the stuff that fits under the geekbrella, beer lover, lapsed pervert and general enjoyer of my little life. I used to update these stories about an inept Satan from time to time, but I have since grown too Fat and Content to continue. Been enjoying your work since your 2000AD days, so looking forward to seeing what you do with this place.

Now then. I'm Steve and I'm an archaeologist and writer (I also dabble in GIS mapping). I review books for Fortean Times, freelance for BSH the custom bike magazine and am now reviewing events for a local arts charity which is seeing my newspaper credits rise.
For about a year I've been submitting my fiction and 21 of my stories have been accepted for publication, the latest for Steevo's People Out of Place project.
I live in North Yorkshire, England and Munich in Germany (My favourite city), and have an unhealthy obsession with vintage and custom motorbikes. I also have a nice little collection of vintage straight razors.
My web haunts are and my Facebook writer page

What-o, I am Mo, art/writer. You can find me here: @mo_ali, some cover art for a Steve Aylett book out soon (REBEL AT THE END OF TIME - order now: but mostly I wander around translating obscure punjabi swearwords for wordsmiths such as yourself.

    Be Seeing You.

    Hey Si

I'm GovSpy, some call me Billy, I'm a Chicago kid, currently down in Houston, TX, (the state so nice they gave it one star) and current government schlub, I'm a guard at the downtown Federal Detention Center for the Bureau of Prisons. I write occasionally, like epic tales of personal greatness, examples of which are scattered in the Embarrassing Stories of Life, Worst Roommate Stories, or Terrible Job Stories. I'm collecting all of my tales in a really selfish memoir later on.

Until that day, I work my ass off, dodging poo and shanks, and try to keep a sense of humor, and read comics. And hang out here, where I feel somewhat sane, relatively speaking.

    Hey Si;

My name's Costa. I was born in and used to live in New York, but I live in the awesome comic-oriented state of Ohio right now. I write and edit, I teach, and I'm a cartoonist. I'm pretty boring, I talk about food and "Peanuts" and my dog a lot on Twitter; @costa_kout

    Hi there Si

My name is Bob, Bob Cluness. I was born in Scotland but now i live in Reykjavik, Iceland. By day i get my hands and arms slashed to ribbons making carbon fibre composites for a prosthetic limbs company called Ă–ssur. But by night i write. I write for the Local paper, the Reykjavik Grapevine, specifically about music. I also write now for other publications in Iceland.

I also haz a blog, lovingly titled REYKJAVIK SEX FARM, where i lay out my paranoid rantings like a weeping sore for all the world to see.

On top of that i also do music mixes under the title NORDIC INTERSTITIAL THRESHOLDS. This was actually started up in order to stop several whitechapelers harassing me about it!

Oh and i'm on twitter as well...

you will be pleased to know that i am a stalker of the rather benevolent kind...

Hello Si, my name is Paul Sizer, and I go under the clever screen name of... Paul Sizer. I live and work in Kalamazoo, Michigan with my wife and fellow creator Jane Irwin, who is also a comic maker.

I am a comic writer/artist/creator/self publisher, with my own self publishing venture Cafe Digital Studios, which is just me. To date, I have self published three graphic novels; LITTLE WHITE MOUSE, MOPED ARMY and B.P.M.

I am also a graphic designer, having run my own freelance graphic design business for the past 18 years, cleverly called Sizer Design+Illustration.

Over the past 5 years, I have had many opportunities to get my work out to a wider audience around the world via Whitechapel, and have been lucky enough to have had many of my illustrations and designs from this site go viral and shoot all over the blogosphere, which has resulted in my getting design and illustration jobs from all over the globe, including doing all the design leading up to Thomas Dolby's upcoming album.

I like it here, and I like the incredible community that has organically and inorganically sprouted here. Glad to have you aboard.

I'm a Belgian artist/illustrator. I draw comics for children and very occasionally for grownups. I got 2 daughters, 2 cats and a newly built home.
Finding a courageous publisher with money is my quest for the Holy Grail.

Hi Si, I'm a deep lurker. I don't do art anymore, but I still like it. In my daylight hours I'm an AI researcher, at night I help run Crashspace, the premier hackerspace in LA(well, we were the first to call ourselves that anyway).

    Hello Si,

When I'm not distracted by many, many shiny things, I'm an occasional contributer to the remake-remodel & please draw me you bastard threads.
Sometimes I have a bright idea (nanographicmo) but mostly I execute dumb ideas beautifully.
I like warrens concise wording and your frolicking verbiage is also pleasing to the eye.
In theory we should get along like a mandlebrot formula, lets party and find out.

    Hi, and welcome.
My name is Trishelle Jeffery. I usually go by Fishelle on the internet. I am a Printmaker, who also has a great interest in comics. The only comic I've ever completed was a memoir of sorts, and the only person here who's seen it is Oldhat, I'm pretty sure. But you can see my prints, and a little other artwork, at my blog if you feel so inclined.
My primary focus in life right now is to get a BFA in Printmaking, and my primary focus for the summer is to get money for school by working on the little military base I've called home since I was born.
I tend to lurk more than I post, as I'm terrible about photographing artwork and putting it up online. I say it's because I'm busy making more artwork, but really I'm just lazy like that.
