My new novel keeps getting frighteningly brilliant reviews, and I'm ill equipped to parse this much "When-Does-The-Penny-Drop" Anxiety.

Have decided to translate it all into monstrous smuggery, and share my HappySpaz Moment with my new drinking buddies. Smirk for me. SMIRK, DAMN YOU.

I leant Contract to my brother at university and he vomited on it. He said he enjoyed it though (as a read AND a puke receptacle). I'm sure he'll look forward to reading and despoiling this one as well as soon as I tell him of it.

Smirking is one of the most underwritten moves that the human face can pull. I'll get my staple gun an arrange a suitable expression for this collection of words about your even bigger collection of words. I've already got my copy pre-ordered and ready to ship from the UK to the antipodes the instant it's released to the public.

I'm pushing to get a few copies ordered to the bookstore I work at, and then to do my best to shove them down the throats of any and all who come within range of me while I'm working.

I can't remember who said it, or where I read it, but the best thing for me about crime fiction is the way it scratches underneath the veneer of civilisation we tend to wear - exposing the bits of ourselves we usually hide from others.

Dan Shaper sounds like my kind of fucked up 'tec.

Ahahaha! Book Depository has just sent me an email telling me that 'A Serpent Uncoiled' will be dispatched to me in the next few days.

Really enjoyed the grimy, psychedelic feel of this, and while I guessed a fair amount of what was going to happen, it didn't stop it kicking any less hard when it did. I best avoid spoilerising by saying ...

I would love to read more about Vince, Dan and Canton. Excellent characters, all.
