    I admire the shit out of John Cheese over at Cracked. His columns about parenting, giving up drinking and smoking, and dealing with all the shitty baggage from his youth, are outstanding in particular. This week he takes a swing at militant pot advocates, his best point being that most of them aren't honest enough to admit they love getting high and would like to do it without getting arrested.

    [edit] I'm in favour of legalisation myself, and I would like to be able to smoke pot without getting pinched for it.

    [edit 2] Don't hijack the thread with a pot debate. Start a thread in London Zoo and hope the mods don't think it's boring and delete it.

    Cool World is what happens when Ralph Bakshi throws his writers and animators five pounds of awesome pot and tells them to make him an insane version of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It features Brad Pitt and Gabriel Byrne wearing What-The-Fuck-Am-I-Doing-In-This-Film expressions on their faces for an hour and a half, the excruciating 'acting' of Kim Basinger, and psychedelic visuals rooted in the artwork of surrealist Barry Jackson. The soundtrack has music by Ministry, David Bowie, The Cult, Brian Eno and Moby, and voice work by Maurice LaMarche.
