    You know, sometimes Wikipedia can make for some truly wonderful accidental hilarity.

    Nyan Cat (also known as Pop Tart Cat)[1] is an internet meme, referring to an 8-bit animated gif of a flying cat with the body of a cherry Pop-Tart, leaving a rainbow behind the cat; or to a video of the animated ?.GIF?, set to a remix of the song "Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya!"

    @Random Entity - That's awesome. I then found this:

    More at Is Winter Coming?

    Much as I love GRRM's books, the fact that he has an entire troll community always makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

    @lampcommander

    My favourite bit of Wikipedia hilarity this week comes from the article on Um Bongo:

    Gerber Foods Soft Drinks Limited only exports its products to Europe, thus it is very unlikely that Um Bongo is drunk in either the Republic of the Congo or the Democratic Republic of the Congo[citation needed].

    I wonder--has there been other attempts at these kind of "trailer reactions" videos, or is Jack & Jill so uniquely horrible that it spawned a new meme?

    From the Dept. of Odd Products:

    Limited edition Mountain Men figures by Mountain Research. A set of four 9cm polyurethane figures. The set features four global revolutionaries -
    Mao Zedong (commonly known as Chairman Mao), a Chinese revolutionary and Guerrilla warfare strategist.
    Karl Marx, a German philosopher and revolutionary socialist.
    Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, a Russian revolutionary and political philosopher.
    Henry David Thoreau, an American author and poet.
    Each mountain figure is dressed in hiking outfits with rucksacks and hiking boots. They come carefully packaged in printed Mountain Research box.

    I'm too lazy to look, but A Clockwork Orange would be another good trailer reaction vid.

    It's a sin!

    Why is Thoreau included in that lineup? He seems wildly out of place.
  10.  (9993.17)
    @Kelind - He's their guide, because he wrote a lot about the virtues of walking.

    Soon having indie content Downfall-ed into pop culture criticism will be integral to marketing drives. There must already be producers reviewing indie scripts and saying "There is no scene with an adult man flipping out -- where is your Downfall moment!"
